The Living Rivers Uniting Church is a cooperative parish linking the Uniting Church in Australia's congregations in Coomera, Nerang and Pimpama. We welcome people of all ages, including those who want to return to the life of the church after those years of hectic activities which can be associated with raising young families, and new arrivals to this rapidly growing part of South-East Queensland. Please join us as we seek to meet God in worship and prayer and share fellowship. The Ministers, Elders and Congregations of the Living Rivers Uniting Church extend a warm invitation to all to join them in worshipping God, giving thanks for the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and growing together in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Our Congregations, Activities and Service Times
|
Christmas and Easter Services ... Service times for Christmas Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday may vary. Please contact the Ministry Team for information or details.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion ... Our three congregations gather around the Lord's Table during the regular service on the first Sunday of each month. Throughout the Uniting Church in Australia, the Lord's Table is open to all who love the Lord and wish to share in this affirmation of our Christian faith.
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism ... The Uniting Church in Australia receives both infants and adults in and through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism administered during normal services of worship. The Living Rivers Uniting Church does not impose any conditions of regular attendance on parents wishing to present their children for reception into the church through this sacrament. For those who are seeking baptism as adults, confirmation or preparation instruction is available. Please contact the local ministry team member to discuss or arrange for this Sacrament. The Living Rivers Uniting Church recognises that there may be those who would prefer to observe a dedication or thanksgiving service for the birth of a child, thus leaving the child the choice of adult baptism in later life, and welcomes those seeking this alternative to the Sacrament of Holy Baptism for infants.
Weddings are conducted as requested and, again, no conditions of regular attendance are made. The Living Rivers Uniting Church welcomes those wishing to remarry after divorce. Weddings may be conducted in any of the three churches or at another location that you may prefer. All three churches have facilities available to support basic wedding receptions following ceremonies. Please contact the Ministry Team to discuss your special day. Jim and Rob also offer wedding preparation courses through the Prepare/Enrich program.
Funerals are conducted as requested and are usually booked through funeral directors. Please advise your funeral director if you wish to have a funeral service held in one of our churches. You are also welcome to contact the ministry team to inspect the church prior to making your decision. The Living Rivers Uniting Church understands that those farewelling a loved relative may wish to have special content as a part of the funeral service celebrating the life of their loved one, and our ministry team will work with you and the funeral director to meet such requirements.
